Stayin' Alive West Coast is a campaign launched in South Africa to raise awareness about the importance of early recognition and response to cardiac arrest. The campaign aims to empower members of the community with the knowledge and skills to save lives by teaching them how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). StayinAliveWC also provides free CPR and AED training to interested individuals and groups in the Western Cape region. By promoting quick and effective action in the event of cardiac arrest, StayinAliveWC seeks to improve survival rates and reduce the impact of this serious medical emergency on families and communities.
